  • Excellent service!!  Austin was so accommodating and answered all my concerns and questions regarding our  purchase of a dryer. I was kept informed every step of the way, as promised. The delivery and installation of my dryer was seamless and perfect. We love our dryer, it's a refurbished one, but it works great, and it's very quiet. So glad to have found this shop which was recommended by both Home Depot and Sears!  Will definitely use them again. I give them my highest recommendation!! A++!

  • This place is very hard to get ahold of. I don't appreciate the lady Nicole who does the scheduling for service. Very rude and very little information. Also, the fee to come out should be applied to work if can be repaired. Only because I see this as a scam. If you're repair guy does not know what they are doing it truly could be a lost cause on everything they look at.

    Service guy was on time, professional, very kind and efficient. I would only use them because of the quality he brings to the table. Nicole should not ever work with people.

  • I called them about my washer, next day Jesse came out and repaired it. Had the part in stock....love them!!!!

  • My fridge needed a new seal around the door it took them 2 weeks after I called them to find out why they didn't get back to me they finally came out put the seal on the door it's the wrong one now my fridge is worse condition then before. So I called them the next day they were going to come out the next day told they would be there between 1-5pm which they never showed up with no call I tried to.call no answer voicemail is full. I want my money back so I can go to someone that knows what they are doing

  • I have a new dryer that is broken & under warranty. South Coast said it would be 10 days before they could come out, so I took it to them. The repair person said it wouldn't act up & gave it back. Got home & it worked for a month. The service person came to my house while it was acting up & did no testing & made a sophisticated wild as guess & ordered a part. The parts in but he said I'll have to call back another time for an appointment. Their service person has a bad attitude as soon as he steps out of his car & addresses you by grunting & complaining about other customers. I can't wait to be done with this business..

  • I had an appointment between 2pm and 4pm. They called at 3:55 to tell me they were running a half hour late. They pulled up at 4:35. Jesse came in. He was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. thanks Jesse

  • Back in September I bought an apartment size refrigerator from South Coast Appliance. It wasn't my primary refrigerator, it was just used for drinks. It was a used refrigerator and came with a 30 warranty. In mid December (3 months later) the Refrigerator died. I called South Coast and told them about the situation. They were very nice and said they would send out a repair person. A couple of days later Jesse showed up and said it appears to need the brain (PC Board) that controls the functions.  He said he would have to order the part and come back when it arrives.  About a week later Jesse came back out and put in the new PC board at no charge.  The refrigerator seemed to work for about 2 days and then died again.  I called South Coast Appliance again and got a hold of the owner, Marshall.  I Told him about the situation and he said I guess we had better swap it out for another one.  He said he would see if he could find one similar to the one I have and get back to me. After a few days it was determined that he was not able to find a similar used one so it was suggested that he look for a new one and I would pay the difference from the one I bought from them and the new one.  A few days later he told me he found a new one in Medford and was going to be over there anyway and would pick it up if that was agreeable with me. Marshall picked it up and it was swapped out with the new one. I paid the difference of $139.00 and got a new refrigerator. From what I can tell the new refrigerator is even a better make and model than my last one and it has a stainless steel door.  My wife and I are very pleased with the results.

  • My husband and I purchased a used Whirlpool brand washer and dryer. We brought both of them home and installed them.  The washer operated fine, but the dryer was another story. The dryer would not heat at all. I wasted hours of time and electricity because I was sold a lemon. After multiple attempts of calling to obtain service, no one picks up the phone. It goes straight to a "beep" tone. After finally getting into contact with the receptionist there, we were sent a technician. He came to diagnose the problem and notified us that it was a burnt out fuse that needed to be replaced. He also said that he would obtain the part and come by when he receives it. Fair enough. My husband and I waited two days for the receptionist to contact us for the technician to come back and get the part. She stated that the technician would come by the next day between 12- 2pm. The next day came around and the technician  --which apparently doesn't know how to use a phone, or even have the courtesy to notify us that he wasn't going to show up at all. I wasted a whole afternoon hoping this guy would show up to fix the dryer "fuse" and he didn't even show up at all. The next day, he shows up unannounced thinking we wouldn't remember the fact that he didn't show up at all. Fixes the "fuse" and leaves. I went to do a load of laundry, and low and behold, the dryer STILL doesn't heat. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that I was lied to. The "owner" of this company claims that these used appliances are "re-manufactured" when the appliances are "re-furbished" or "re-conditioned." Two VERY different claims. I was under the impression, that the appliance was sent back to the manufacturer and the issue it had was resolved back to factory conditions.The "30 day warranty" covers the bare minimum of a repair and they could care less if it keeps breaking down. The "technician" doesn't even have the sense to diagnose the WHOLE problem, and just tries to get away with the bare minimum, so the warranty runs out, and YOU'RE now SOL and stuck with the problem.
    After being completely fed up and done with how this unethical business operates,  My husband and I had to rent a U-haul (80 dollar expense out of our own pocket because we don't own a truck) and physically showed up at the store with the dryer. We pulled up to the entrance and the owner, of course, goes running to hide in the back. They didn't want to deal with us due to the fact that they are very in the wrong. Luckily, we were refunded the money we spent on the dryer. Not the whole amount though- refunded 175 when we paid 187.50.

    Over the course of three weeks that we owned this dryer, it never did what a dryer is intended to do-- DRY clothes. The "30 day warranty" they claim to have is a complete joke. We had a technician come twice and he STILL couldn't repair it. You're better off going to YouTube to solve the problem yourself.

    I will NEVER purchase again from this company. If you took the time to read my review, you have been warned. If its too good to be true, it IS. The old saying "cheap is expensive" holds true. You're better off at a laundry mat, hand washing, and hanging your clothes to dry than to ever go through the hassle this company gives you to make a quick buck off of the junk they're selling.

  • I really hate to leave a bad review for a business in this town but after what I experienced I have to beware people of this company. So I bought an appliance from them got it delivered tried to use it and it was broken..they were very nice and fast about sending someone out at no charge to fix it great! The problrm I have is that I walked into the business waited about 20 mins in the front room listening to the owner yelling at his employees well ok people lose their temper I get it...So after hearing this I tried calling the store and knocking on the door several times but he obviously could not hear anything due to his yelling...he then went on to bad mouth his customers and talk horribly about them...Finally I drove around the back and was able to get some help....Experience number two just blew my mind ..so we bought a house with a home warranty and his store is contracted with the home warranty place my stove was broken ...so there is a $75 charge for them to come fix the appliance... the tech comes out says we need a new heating element in our stove he would get parts and be back in as soon as he got the parts we paid the $75 on 8/1 no one ever came back out even after calling several times!!! We called the home warranty place they set us up with a new company and we explained that south coast had taken our check and cashed it never did the work so something needed to be done!! Well upon the home warranty place checking with south coast they lied and said they had never been to our house REALLY!!!!! So now we have printed out bank statements proving they cashed the check (thank god we paid check) well just see what happens now but how dare these con artists!
