Go-Kart Season Opener POSTPONED until June 10th due to rain and wet conditions.  


Racing Thursday nights: June 10th and 17th, July 8th, 22nd and 29th, August 12th, 19th and 26th, and September 9th and 23rd.

Beginning June 17th (after the first two races), we will have a new tire rule for all classes at The Little O at Ogilvie Raceway.

After the two-race grace period, all karts are required to run Treaded Hoosier Tires. The required compounds will be the D50a on the right rear and the D30a on the other 3 corners or 20 on the right front and left rear. Tire treatments will NOT be allowed on these tires. You are allowed to grind and sipe.


Additionally, we are adding R Box Wing Karts to our weekly racing schedule, as long as the number of karts in attendance can support the adding of the class. Rules for this class will be posted on our website soon.

All race teams and spectators will enter through the trackside parking gate (West of the building and main grandstands). Continue around the west and south side of the Big O to enter into the infield via the south side of the track behind the billboards. $25 to race (includes pit pass for the driver). For drivers competing in more than one class, it’s $25 to race for first class and $10 entry fee for any additional classes. $10/pit pass. FREE for spectators in the grandstands or Big O trackside spots.  

Trackside parking gate will open at 5:30 pm. Draw cutoff at 6:30 pm. Racing starts at 7 pm.

No reservation or experience is required at Prokart Indoor Racing, so what are you waiting for? Ranked one of the best indoor go kart tracks in Minnesota, Prokart is the place for karters and those looking for serious fun. Drivers ages eight and up are welcome to take their place on the starting line and race around one of the four indoor tracks at speeds up to 40 miles an hour. A driving school is required for drivers aged 8-12 to ensure the rules of safety are understood and followed. No helmet? No problem. Prokart provides helmets, jumpsuits, and all of the necessary equipment to go with the kart.

Head west of the Twin Cities to Cokato, Minnesota and find yourself hanging out at one of the best go kart tracks in the state. Stockholm has opened up its racing courses to a wide variety of ages, starting at five and moving up from there. Kids can attend a short class and use specially-made go karts for children only. The smaller karts go from 20-30 miles an hour while the adult karts can hit up to 65. No experience is necessary and all gear is available for rent also – including helmets and jumpsuits.

Wondering where you can go to get your go kart fix and then pan for gemstones when you finish the race? Head south to Skyline Raceway and have a great day of doing both. The go kart track offers 9 horsepower engine karts and specials on the pricing throughout the week. Double karts are available at Skyline to make sure that kids who don’t quite measure up to driver height can enjoy the race as well. After you race around the dirt track, head over to the panning area and seek out your fortune of gemstones and gold. A mini-golf course is also on site in case the panning and driving gets old.

Not sure if you want to spend the entire day go karting? Raceway To Fun has an entire host of other activities and options for a good time to accompany your go karting experience. Check out the mini-golf courses and practice your putting skills, play arcade games until you run out of quarters, or trade the road for the water on their bumper boats. Kids love this venue and it shows by the massive amount of unsupervised children running around. Spend the day and all of your money here and go home exhausted. Minnewaska Go-Kart Racing Association, is the go-to area to have a great time with loved ones. It is an innovative and fun spot for go-karting lovers who prefer the thrill of outdoor dirt racing. They also feature racing classes for youngsters permitting them to experience the excitement of go-karting from a very young age.

The venue offers an outdoor oval dirt track and also organized several events and leagues. You can even book the location to host birthday celebrations, bachelor parties, private gatherings, group and corporate events, and other racing activities too.

Race Track

The race track at Minnewaska Go-Kart Racing Association is an outdoor oval track for specialized go-karts. The track is angled and features a safety barrier to ensure safety of the racers.

The track also has an efficient lighting system that allows for night races, which are hosted from time to time. Generally, it’s well-maintained and always ready to deliver some high-speed racing.


The facility does not provide karts. If you wish to race at the Minnewaska Go-Kart Racing Association, you’ll have to bring your own oval dirt kart. This will allow you to participate in the facility’s different events and also in casual racing sessions.

Maple Grove is the second location of ProKART and also features a great indoor race track for kids and adults who enjoy go-kart racing. If you are looking for a place to experience some high-octane racing in Maple Grove then this facility is definitely one to consider. 

ProKART Maple Grove offers various arrive and drive packages and racing leagues. You’ll also be able to book parts of the facility for hosting ground and corporate events, team-building activities and other private parties. 

Race Track

The facility has a well-designed race track. They offer an indoor race track which can also be extended to another outdoor section. In other words, it’s both indoors and outdoors which is a very unique feature.

The track also has a top notch lap time system where you can monitor your lap times and easily compete against your friends and colleagues. The track also features a safety barrier on both sides for extra safety.


ProKART Maple Grove offers Sodi RX8 karts. These are high-powered racing machines that can reach a speed of 40 mph. They come with an adjustable pedal and seat that allows adjustment for drivers of various heights and sizes.

Moreover, they are equipped with advanced safety features and an anti-gas brake system that makes speed reduction easy and controllable thus ensuring a safe racing experience.

Atwater Karting Speedway is a family-centered racing association that hosts several karting events and competitions. They also have an awesome oval dirt track and also offer memberships for families at very reasonable rates.

The facility is sponsored by more than 20 different businesses and organizations that add to their cause of promoting awareness about karting to kids during the learning years of their lives. The community is extremely friendly and welcome to anyone who wishes to learn more!

Race Track

The facility has an oval dirt track that is made specifically for oval dirt karts. It’s an outdoor track, that has a barrier made of used tires, in case people veer off course.

The track has a spotlight system to facilitate night time events. A spectator area is also available where your friends and family can watch you racing on the track. Car parking is also available right next to the track where you can load and unload your oval karts.


If you wish to race at Atwater Karting Speedway, you’ll need to bring your own oval kart. Just keep in mind the check the kart requirements beforehand, if you wish to participate in any karting events or leagues.

Aiming to improve karting awareness among youngsters of west-central Minnesota, Runestone Go-Kart Association is a non-profit organization located in Alexandria, minnesota. Having a large number of sponsors, the association is dedicated towards delivering a high-quality racing opportunity for youngsters, ther families and new racing enthusiasts.

Race Track

The track at the facility is an oval dirt track. It also has a great floodlight system that is great for night racing events. It’s also equipped with a safety barrier to avoid any unwanted accidents.

There is a spectator stand where friends and families can watch their loved ones race and have fun. A podium is also available for special events and trophy ceremonies.


The Runestone Go-Kart Association doesn’t have go-karts for rent. Instead, you’ll need to bring your own oval kart.

Food & Beverage

There is a small snack bar available in the facility where you can munch on some snacks and cold drinks while having a fun filled day at the track. They also provide catering services for private events and parties.

Double-header races Aug.15

 We will be racing double-header this Sunday, 15th.  First will be our regular scheduled race and after, the makeup race from last weekends cancellation.  (Two pulls will be drawn at check in.)  Please note:  both shows will be ONE HEAT each. 


Today's (Aug. 8) races are CANCELLED due to track being too wet.   Make up date TBD.

Reminder, we have changed things up a bit this season - starting a little later and running only one show/event....no double headers.

 Our 2021 season is fast approaching!  Can you believe it?!  Test and Tune is coming up Sunday, May 16th from 1 to 6 pm.  Come on out and be sure that kart is ready to go for the opener next weekend. 


 There will be another board meeting on March 7, 3:00 p.m. at Captain's.  Come help set schedule and new board.    If you are unable to attend and interested in being on the board, please feel free to contact a current board member. 


We are in need of a few new Board members, as well as several volunteers to help at the track.  This will also determine if we will be able to have a race season this year.  Anyone interested is welcome to come to an OPEN board meeting Sunday, Feb.14  at Captain's 3:00 p.m. 



Due to current health conditions and the lack of volunteers, we have decided to not race this season.  We will try again next year but will need volunteers in order to do so.
